Welcome to the Isle of Man Indaba and SACC UK Network & Learn event!
With rising global uncertainty and renewed economic nationalism, the Isle of Man Indaba returns to London to examine how international businesses and investors can navigate a world that is increasingly fractured.
As new tariffs, trade barriers, and shifting alliances disrupt traditional global flows, the Isle of Man offers a compelling alternative: a stable, secure jurisdiction with a proven track record in cross-border structuring, sustainable finance, and governance.
Bringing together 11 leading Isle of Man companies, this event will unpack how the island enables international business resilience, including:
A keynote on geopolitical risk and economic realignment
An investment outlook on Grey Swans and Black Rhinos by Resilience Asset Management
Two panel discussions — one technical, one practical — drawing on legal, fiduciary, banking, and investment expertise.
In the past five years, the Isle of Man has been the leading domicile for new trust-based international pension schemes, accounting for 67% of such schemes established during this period. This timely event provides the platform for discussion on the jurisdictional edge the island provides in a world marked by complexity and contradiction.

ABOUT THE ISLE OF MAN
The Isle of Man is located in the north Irish Sea, between England and Ireland. It is a self-governing crown dependency, we have our own parliament and laws, our own economy, and is not part of the United Kingdom or the European Union.
Our economy is growing and has a Moody’s government rating of Aa3. This rating indicates the Island’s high level of wealth and economic resilience. Moody’s comment: “The IoM’s economy is more diversified than are most entities of its size, having moved away from a reliance on offshore banking towards information and communication technology (ICT), insurance and e-gaming.” One of the key strengths of our economy is that we do not have any outstanding government debt.
As observed by Moody’s the Isle of Man Government continued development of new economic sectors is a testament to its entrepreneurial drive. The following sectors are being developed:
• Medicinal cannabis
• E-gaming
• Blockchain
• Fintech
The quality of life that the Isle of Man offers is noteworthy. We are ranked as being one of the safest places in the British Isles to live with 86% of residents saying they have a good quality of life.
